Secret Headquarters was a great show. I have young boys and a good adventure movie with elements of technology, sci-fi, and heroism is always a treat.
The concept of this movie was fun, a type alien race based on supernatural technology picks Owen Wilson to in a sense own the technology and power. His son and friends discover the secret lare under his mountain cabin which kicks off a fun adventure trying to prevent the technology and power from being stolen. I know that is a pretty sad explanation. But honestly, the movie was lots of fun.
Anyhow, I would say due to some of the course language and adult inuendo and manner of death, it probably is a solid PG.
- There is no sex, no heterosexual or homosexual. There is a teen kiss.
- The parents are divorced. It seems to be due to the superheroes status, not due to a conflict in their relationship. It would have been nice to see that the family was actually still intact.
- There is comic violence, lots of blasts, hitting and kicking. Nothing bloody.
- The language: there is some crass language, but nothing extreme. Things like crap, fart, idiot, butt, piss and a damn.
