There were a lot of things I loved about this movie. 8-bit Christmas is one man’s story of his childhood dream to have a Nintendo Entertainment System. Obviously, the kids were not patient enough to just wait to see if one showed up under the Christmas tree.
I remember my own childhood, wanting to have an Atari, a Commodore 64, and a Nintedo Entertainment System. These were a big deal back in the day. this movie was very well made. The father daughter interaction and storytelling were excellent. The casting and acting was excellent, and SPOILER, even though he didn’t get a Nintedo for Christmas, the relationship between father and son, and family were top notch. I think society longs for examples of strong father son relationships; that are built on love, respect and life lessons.
You won’t go wrong enjoying 8-Bit Christmas with the family this holiday season. In fact, buy it and enjoy it ever year.

- There are good examples of family; family bonds, good parenting
- There is no nudity
- The language: is mild.
