Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is based on the Marvel Comics characters Antman and Wasp. It is the third installment in the Ant-Man film series and part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie is directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne. The film also introduces Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, and other notable actors in supporting roles.
This movie was a lot of fun more me. The idea of the quantum realm has been being built op over multiple movies, so a movie based on the realm is not too farfetched at this point. The artistry that went into developing the world, buildings, characters, animals, plants, and weapons in this world was excellent in my opinion. It was very creative and very well executed. I found the movie to be very entertaining.
Lately I have been viewing fewer and fewer Disney and Marvel productions because they seem to be tying in too many woke elements and themes. If there were some in this movie, they were subtle enough I didn’t notice them. There were no global warming over population themes, LGBT themes or characters that were emphasized, no theme about bigotry or racism; but rather the characters and thematic elements focused on what felt like the natural struggle between good and evil; which always makes for great entertainment.
I really enjoyed this movie.
- This movie has no sex. There is one kiss.
- This movie has some language including: the s**t, d**n, a** and g*d words.
- There is obviously cartoon action violence in the movie but no blood.
